Following your participation at Preview or Transfer Days, Passages is your next step in preparing for life at Illinois State. Passages is both for incoming freshmen and transfer students.

What is Passages?

For students entering Illinois State in the fall semester, Passages occurs during move-in weekend.  For students entering Illinois State in the spring semester, there is a one-day Passages program on the Saturday prior to the start of classes.  During Passages, you’ll enjoy a number of programs and activities that will answer questions you may have about academics, campus resources, and getting involved at the University.

Most importantly, Passages allows you to have fun! The University and the neighboring Bloomington and Normal community welcome you to Redbird Country and are excited to have you join the family. Your active participation during Passages will not only provide you with the tools you’ll need to be successful at the University, but will also help you make Illinois State your “home away from home.”
